Osaka Castle Park
[ 25 minutes by train from the hotel ]
A vast historical park located on the special historic site of Osaka Castle. This park also has facilities such as Osaka Castle Hall and Taiyou Square, which host all kind of events and concerts. The castle keep, often seen in historical drama series, is open to the public (for a fee) as an observation deck and historical museum, letting you take in the view of Osaka from the top floor.

Tsutenkaku (Tower)
[ 15 minutes by train from the hotel ]
A symbol of Osaka that, at the time it was built (1912) was the highest in the East. If you climb to the top of the observatory, where you can take in the cityscape of Osaka, you will be welcomed by Billiken, a god of fortune. In the surrounding area (Shinsekai) there are many eateries, such as kushikatsu shops (deep fried skewers of meat or vegetables).

Aquarium Kaiyukan
[ 40 minutes by train from the hotel ]
Centered on the Pacific Tank which holds the world’s largest fish, the Jimbei Shark, this is one of largest aquariums in the world, with 14 tanks reproducing 10 different regions. Including Aqua Gate, in which fish pass overhead, and Floating Jelly Fish, a world of see-through creatures, the aquarium is home to 580 species of creatures, the sight of which moves the hearts of anyone who visits.

Kyocera Dome Osaka

Multipurpose dome stadium and combined leisure facility in Nishi Ward, Osaka city.Home of Orix Buffaloes of professional baseball / Pacific / League. Events such as concerts and exhibitions as well as professional baseball will be held.About 5 minutes from Shinsaibashi Station (Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line) to Do-mumaechiyozaki Station.

Umeda Sky Building/
Kuchu Teien Observatory[ 15 minutes by train from the hotel ]
Umeda Sky Building, one of the landmarks of Umeda. The two towers of 40 stories each are connected, and there is an aerial restaurant on the 39th floor and an observation gallery on the 40th. The highlight of this building is Kuchu Teien Observatory, a rooftop garden observatory where, you at a height of 170 meters, you can take in the cityscape of Osaka as the wind blows around you.

Abeno Harukas

A skyscraper of over 300 meters and 60 stories. The origin of the name “Harukas” comes from a line in The Tales of Ise, “harukasu” (to clear up, get sunny). In addition to the observatory, this lively building has museums and many restaurants as well.
